Education & Training

Christopher Stark, M.D., earned his medical degree in 1989 from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, followed by residencies in general and orthopaedic surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, Nashville Orthopaedic Society and Tennessee Orthopaedic Society.

Dr. Stark’s clinical interests include sports medicine, joint replacement, shoulder and upper extremity care, general orthopaedics and rehabilitation.

Community Involvement

Outside the practice of medicine, Dr. Stark enjoys hiking, fishing, running, bicycling and participating in triathlons and marathons. He has completed four Iron Man events and as well as numerous ultra marathons and multi-day events.
